🌟 Volunteer Spotlight on Angela 🌟
This #MotivationalMonday we are celebrating Angela, one of our truly incredible volunteers whose kindness and dedication make a real difference every single week.
You will find Angela every Friday at Lidl in Bingham collecting donations and making sure they reach local food banks where they are needed most.
During the pandemic Angela was at the heart of the team delivering medicine, food and essentials to vulnerable people in their homes bringing comfort in the most challenging times.
Angela has also taken on amazing adventures for the Foundation driving through Derbyshire and even around Sri Lanka as part of our tuk tuk fundraising challenges.
Her commitment and spirit were instrumental in the Foundation being awarded Volunteer of the Year 2021.
Angela, thank you for your compassion, your energy and your huge heart. You inspire us all.

Did you know some beautiful love stories have started through Rosie May?❤️
Back in 2008 at the Rosie May Home in Sri Lanka, Olivia took time out from her midwifery career to volunteer and met Sri, our IT teacher. Fast forward to 2010 and along came Grace our very first Rosie May baby❤️
Helen and Steve found each other on a Rosie May Yoga retreat in 2019 proving that stretching hearts can be just as powerful as stretching muscles❤️
Gothami and Ruchi met while working at the Rosie May Home, as project manager and a preschool teacher, building futures side by side❤️
Friendships, connections and maybe even a little romance seem to follow wherever Rosie May goes ✨
